Defeat Anime RNG Powers Guide

Angelic from Evangelion, Blossom from Blossom. Assign them to a keeper. Do not confuse them with shards or mutations.

Powers Guide

Powers are the most misread rewards in the Defeat Anime RNG code list. Evangelion does not pay Trait Shards. Blossom does not pay a mutated unit. They pay Power [Angelic] and Power [Blossom] — loadout modifiers you park on a fighter you already intend to main. Mixing those words is how Angelic ends up on a Common you merge away the same night.

This page is the assignment guide. Redeem the strings after Death Castle (450K Coins) using how to redeem. Then come here before you click the Power onto a body. Shard spend still lives on trait shards. Mutation rules still live on mutations.

What a Power is (and is not)

Confirmed, because the live code box exists:

CodeGrantSlot
EvangelionPower [Angelic]Power
BlossomPower [Blossom]Power
ChainsawGenius Mutated KobeniUnit + mutation
bugfix, Bugfixes1, Update3, micropatch1, UpdateTwo, ReleaseTrait Shards and/or potionsCurrency / consumable

A Power is a loadout modifier. It changes how a unit fights. It is not a new face in the roster. It is not a mutation tag. It is not a pile of shards you drip onto six commons. If the live box ever prints a third Power name, treat it with this same table: classify the slot first, then pick a body.

Defeat Anime Bosses has not published a public stat sheet that says “Angelic equals +X%” or “Blossom equals +Y%.” This wiki will not invent those numbers. What we can tell you is how to stop wasting the grant.

Pick the body before you assign

Order of operations after Death Castle opens:

  1. Redeem every live string on Codes. Bank the Powers. Do not assign yet if you do not have a main.
  2. If Chainsaw worked, Genius Mutated Kobeni is a legal Power target and a mutation keeper. Read the Kobeni page before you merge her into a plain copy.
  3. If Kobeni is not your combat main yet, pick the merge parent you are already feeding. How to merge and team building are the filters.
  4. Assign Angelic and Blossom to that long-term body — often the same unit if you only have one real keeper, or split only if you already run two protected trees.
  5. Then spend Trait Shards on the same body. Shards on a unit you are about to feed away disappear with the food. Powers on that unit disappear with the food too.

A Power on a throwaway copy is as wasted as 75 shards on that copy. The difference is you only get one Angelic and one Blossom from the current list. You can earn more shards from a later bugfix. You cannot earn a second Angelic unless a new string appears.

Angelic versus Blossom

Both are Powers. Both come from themed code names. Both belong on keepers. We do not have a developer post that ranks one above the other, so this wiki will not fake a “Blossom is S-tier, Angelic is B-tier” table. Practical rules that do not need a fake table:

  • If you have only one merge parent, put both Powers in that plan. Do not leave one sitting unassigned while you “wait for a better unit.” A Power in the bag does not fight the next boss.
  • If you have Kobeni plus a strong non-mutated main, you may split: mutation tree on Kobeni, Power on the wave clearer, or both on Kobeni if she is already the spike. The tier list is a first filter, not a license to invent names.
  • Do not assign a Power to a unit you plan to feed in the next ten minutes. Finish the merge decision first.
  • Do not treat Powers as mutations on the mutation rankings page. Different axis. Different keep/feed rule.

The live Roblox listing as of 9 September 2026 still titles the place [UPD⛓️] Defeat Anime RNG. That chainsaw-flavored live title matches the Chainsaw unit grant more than it matches the Power codes. Do not assume Update3 secretly buffed Angelic. Rank the copy in front of you.

Powers, shards, luck, Coins — keep the jobs separate

  • Powers change a unit you already own. Assignment page: this one.
  • Trait Shards shape a unit you already own. Spend page: trait shards.
  • Luck Potions change future rolls. Timing page: luck.
  • Coins buy rolls and unlock Death Castle. Farm page: coins.
  • Mutations are unit variants. Protection page: mutations.

If you redeem Evangelion and think you got 75 shards, you will look for a number that is not there and skip the assignment. If you redeem Blossom and merge that unit into a common, you just deleted the Power. If you drink a Luck Potion hoping it applies Angelic, you drank a roll buff on a wave. Separate the jobs.

After the Powers are parked

Go fight. How to beat bosses is the combat page. If the keeper still feels like the one after a zone wall, spend more shards there. If a later roll is obviously the new main, that is the painful case: Powers already assigned may not be a free swap. This wiki will not invent a “respec is always free” sentence the developers have not shown. Play as if the first assignment is expensive. That mindset alone stops the Common-click.

Six-player servers do not share Powers. A neighbor with Angelic on a 100 million DPS pitch is a screenshot, not a drop. Your Evangelion paste is yours after your 450K.

New Power names, if they appear, will show up first in Discord or on the group wall, then on updates and the named changelog. Until a tenth string exists, the Power list is two grants: Angelic and Blossom. Park them. Then go back to waves.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, merges, bosses, and Death Castle.

What does the Evangelion code give in Defeat Anime RNG?

Power [Angelic], after Death Castle. It is a loadout modifier, not shards. Redeem on Codes and assign it to a keeper.

What does the Blossom code give?

Power [Blossom]. Same slot as Angelic, different Power. Do not merge the unit you just assigned it to. Merge rules sit on how to merge.

Are Powers the same as mutations or Trait Shards?

No. Mutations are unit variants such as Genius Mutated Kobeni. Shards are a spendable pile. Powers are a separate loadout slot.

Which unit should get Angelic or Blossom?

The merge parent you will still be looking at tomorrow — often Genius Mutated Kobeni if she is your spike. See the Kobeni page and team building.
